Vastly experienced goalkeeper Adam Bartlett drops three levels from Vanarama National League North side York City to join Robin Falcus` side, while South Shields favourite Carl Finnigan and Bishop Auckland duo Lewis Gibbons and Kieran Galbraith have also put pen-to-paper.

Bartlett had been an ever-present between the Minstermen sticks since arriving from Darlington in November 2017, making 70 consecutive appearances.

But, at 33, the former England C international has decided to take on a sales job while playing football more local to his north-east home.

Bartlett`s other previous clubs include Blyth Spartans, Kidderminster Harriers, Hereford United, Gateshead, and Hartlepool United.

Finnegan joins from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side South Shields.

He signed for Shields in August 2016 after a spell in Botswana with Township Rollers.

Finnigan started his career with Newcastle United before a successful spell north of the border with Falkirk, who he represented in the 2009 Scottish Cup final against Rangers.

He also played in Scotland for St Johnstone and Dundee, while he also featured for Gateshead between 2014 and 2015.

Finnegan leaves Shields with a record of 72 goals in 115 appearances, and he played a part in two promotion campaigns and five trophy wins.

The 32-year-old was also the first player in history to score for South Shields at Wembley Stadium, having netted the opening goal in the final of the Buildbase FA Vase in 2017.

Central defender or midfielder Gibbons joins from Whickham`s league rivals Bishop Auckland, who he signed for exactly a year ago from Consett.

He was previously was with Darlington and Durham City after being with Sunderland as a youth.

Centre-back Galbraith also joins from Bishop Auckland having been with them for a season after signing from Seaham Red Star.

The young 6`4” defender, brother of Darlington player Terry Galbraith, is

quick strong and very comfortable with the ball at his feet.
