Coming
off the bench for the Moatsiders was vastly experienced forward Delano
Sam-Yorke.
The
30-year-old, who began his career with Wycombe Wanderers, has since had
extensive National League and National League South experience with the likes
of Basingstoke Town, Cambridge United, Forest Green Rovers, Boreham Wood,
Maidstone United and then Dartford.
He
spent part of the 2018/19 season on loan with Merstham`s league rivals Kingstonian.
Also
moving to The Whisky Bible Stadium is young full back Liam Smith, who started against
the Urchins.
He
is an exciting young prospect who joins the Moatsiders on a dual registration agreement
with Vanarama National League South new boys Tonbridge Angels.
He
broke into the Angels first team from the club’s successful youth system,
making his debut at just 16 years old.
He
enjoys attacking the opposition down the flank when operating at full back yet
shows great maturity for one so young.
He
became a regular in the first team squad last season, helping Angels to
play-off success from the Isthmian Premier. |
