Branigan joined the club in June this year as head coach and had aspirations of taking a managerial role in the future.

A UEFA B qualified coach, who spent several years as a coach at Steyning Town, he also played at semi-professional level, and his football knowledge is exemplary and he already has the respect of the players with the philosophy he has installed into the side throughout pre-season.

Off the pitch, Branigan is a teacher at Bowden House. He said: “I am delighted to be taking charge at Seaford Town.

“The club has big plans and a bright future and to be a part of it is a real honour.

“The side we have in the first team is really strong and I’m very much looking forward to having a successful season”.
