The
vastly experienced Sandell, who turned 36 on Sunday, joined Melksham in May on
a permanent basis after turning out for them on loan from Vanarama National
League South side Chippenham Town in 2018/19.
He
originally joined the Bluebirds back in November 2011 from Wycombe Wanderers.
He
appeared for Malmesbury and Melksham before moving to Bath City ahead of his
step into the Football League with Bristol Rovers.
Having
left the Memorial Ground in 2007, he returned to non-League level with
Salisbury City.
In
2009, he joined Aldershot Town and then was transferred in June 2010 to
Wycombe, where he has scored 7 goals in 48 appearances, prior to spending a
month out on loan with Forest Green Rovers.
After
his first spell with Chippenham, he joined then-Conference side Newport County
in 2012 and spent 3 years with the Exiles and appeared in the Promotion Final
against Wrexham at Wembley before re-joining Chippenham in July 2015.
He
scored 61 goals in 106 games in his last stint at Hardenhuish Park.
