Former
Liverpool starlet Adam Morgan (pictured) joins after being on the books at Northern
Premier League Division One North West sides Widnes and Mossley AFC this season.
The
25-year-old joined Mossley in July from Vanarama National League North
neighbours Curzon Ashton before he switched to league rivals Widnes in October.
He
garnered attention for his goalscoring exploits during the 2010/11 FA Premier
Academy League season.
He
scored 18 goals in 16 games and was taken on Liverpool's pre-season tour of the
USA by then manager Brendan Rodgers in July 2012 and scored his first senior
goal for Liverpool in a friendly against Toronto FC with an assist by Raheem
Sterling.
He
made his senior debut for the club in a Europa League qualifier against Hearts
and also started the group game against Anzhi Makhachkala.
He
made his League debut on loan at Rotherham United before joining Yeovil Town on
loan.
Following
his release by Liverpool he signed a permanent deal with Yeovil in January
2014.
He
spent the first half of the 2015/16 season with Accrington Stanley and
following a brief spell with Colwyn Bay signed for Curzon Ashton, famously
scoring a hat-trick in a televised FA Cup Second Round tie against AFC
Wimbledon. Spells with FC Halifax Town and Sligo Rovers in the Republic of
Ireland followed before he returned again to play for Curzon in September 2018.
Whilst
with Liverpool, he represented England at both under-17 and at under-19 level.
Midfielder
Mekhi McLeod has arrived from league rivals Coggeshall Town.
McLeod
made a March 2019 move to the Seed Growers from VCD Athletic.
A
former Fulham and Wolverhampton Wanderers youngster who also spent time with
Glasgow Rangers, he returned south to play non-League football with Ware, VCD
Athletic, Eastleigh and Billericay Town before signing for Accrington Stanley
in June 2017.
He
made 10 appearances for Stanley and also spent time on loan at Southport and
Warrington Town before being released and joining FC Halifax Town in July 2018.
He
moved briefly to Welling United in January 2019, re-joined VCD and then onto
the Seed Growers.
Experienced
defender Ryan Cresswell joins having started the season with National League North
side Bradford Park Avenue.
The
Sheffield youth academy product has made over 270 appearances across EFL League
Two and National League with the likes of Eastleigh, Northampton Town,
Fleetwood Town, Southend United, Bury and Rotherham United
The
defender spent time with York City on trial in February 2019 after departing
Eastleigh before signing for Boston United in March on a short-term deal until
the end of the season when he switched to Avenue.
Midfielder
Jake Hall, who is well-known in the area as a star of `The Only Way is Essex`
television reality programme, has also joined Boro.
Hall,
who began his career with Dagenham & Redbridge, had been tracked
extensively by Luton Town before his switch to Boston and has also previously
played for Bromley, Bishop`s Stortford, Billericay Town and Grays Athletic.
The 26-year-old arrived at Boston United in October
2013.
He
made his Boston debut as a substitute against Barrow AFC and established
himself as a key part of the United midfield.
He
left mid-season but signed for the Pilgrims again in March 2015. |
