Hird came to Hillheads in the summer and had a prolific goalscoring spell during October but has started only one of the last five games since the return to the side of Michael Annang-Colquhoun and the arrival of new signing Marcus Giles from Ashington.

Hird joined Bay from another league rivals, Shildon.

He signed for Shildon from Durham City in March 2018 and made 41 appearances scoring 7 goals.

Manager Nathan Haslam told https://whitleybayfc.com: “I’d like to go on record and say Brad has been a great lad to have in the dressing room. His attitude and application have been first class and he moves on with my best wishes”.
