Corr will continue in his position as development coach at SkyBet League Two outfit Cambridge United, where he remains responsible for managing the transition of the club’s young professionals from youth team to senior football.

The appointment therefore marks what Cambridge United hopes is the beginning of a long-term strategic partnership between the two clubs, with Corr set to combine his roles for the benefit of both parties, and enabling young players progressing from the club's academy to benefit from an additional pathway of gaining crucial experience of men's football.

St Neots Town also gain the expertise and vast footballing experience that Corr himself will bring to the position, having played over 300 professional games through his playing career with the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, Swindon Town, Exeter City, Southend United and Cambridge United and also attained his UEFA A Licence and coaching qualifications in recent years.

Director Iain Parr told  http://www.stneotstownfc.co.uk: "We are delighted to announce Barry Corr as our new manager. Barry will work closely with our current coaching staff - Sean Greygoose, Matty Joseph and Gary Dean - and will have support behind the scenes from director of football Matt Clements.

“We have always had a strong relationship with Cambridge United and the new partnership will see us add strength and depth to the club both on and off the pitch".
