Twenty-three-year-old midfielder Boland (pictured) moves to Sharpenhoe Road from league rivals Kempston Rovers.

He had re-joined Kempston in 2018 after previous spells with the club, sandwiched by periods spent with Leighton Town, Staines Town and Aylesbury FC (now Aylesbury Vale Dynamos).

He originally joined the Walnut Boys from neighbours Bedford Town in 2016.

Phelan returns to Rovers on a `gentleman`s agreement` with Southern League Premier Division Central side Hitchin Town.

The 19-year-old defender joined the Canaries in November on his return from a short spell with Swedish second tier side Ytterhogdals IK where he was one of four former young professionals to join them after being released by EFL clubs at the end of the 2018/19 season.

The centre-back moved to Sweden in July after being released by Championship new boys Luton Town.

He began his Hatters career at the age of 7 and helped the youth team make it to the Cordial Cup quarter finals in Germany.

He spent time on loan with Rovers in 2018/19.
