Salmon joins from league rivals Whitley Bay, having previously been with Billingham Synthonia.
He has excellent pace and his fitness is second to none. He can play anywhere down the right, and on occasions even playing up front.
Manager Ian Chandler told the club`s official website: “I am delighted to have secured Chris for the forthcoming season. He played at Synners then Whitley Bay last season. He’ll give us even more competition for places, but again his pace will be a huge factor for us.”
Marshall joins from another league rival, Jarrow Roofing, where he was one of their longest-serving players.
He is a strong, right-sided defender, very quick and very consistent.
Chandler added: “Jamie had a tough season last time out with Jarrow Roofing, but is very much looking forward to the new campaign with Bishop Auckland. He has a great attitude and will prove a big plus for us.”
McClarence is a powerful striker, very reminiscent to Peter Crouch in his style of play, excellent in the air, but also very comfortable with the ball at his feet.
Chandler said of McClarence: “Sometimes in pre-season you can stumble across a player who maybe hasn’t played at this level before but makes an immediate impact. Jordan may be this player, at 6`4” he has the attributes to be a real threat from set-pieces, but to add to this he has excellent ball control. Possibly a real find and really looking forward to seeing him in our pre-season games”. |
