Chairman
Jez Dickinson issued a statement saying: “I would like to thank Ryan for his
hard work and commitment to the club in what has been a tough first year for
everyone.
“With
results not improving on a consistent enough basis and our league position
still too close to the threat of relegation I have decided that a change is now
required. The process to find a suitable replacement begins immediately.”
O`Rawe
responded on Twitter by saying: “After getting my head around what has
happened, I am devastated with the chairman’s decision to part ways with me as
Brentwood Town manager and am astounded with the lack of professionalism in the
way that I found out about my release,
especially
after being told I had the job until at least the end of the season.
“Due
to restrictive and difficult ongoing circumstances the job was made difficult
for me, yet we were still confident we would achieve the target set with the
games in hand and the way we’ve been playing recently.
“On
a positive note, I want to thank the boys first and foremost, they have been a
pleasure to manage and couldn’t have asked for a better group of lads. The
loyalty they have shown me throughout has been appreciated beyond words.
“I
also want to thank my coaches, the fans and the people that have supported me
throughout my time as manager.
“Football
management does not end here for me and will look forward to my next
opportunity”. |
