Gould came through the youth ranks at Brightlingsea, making his way into the first team in 2008 where he has been ever since, making the left back position his own.

Gould started with the first team in the Essex & Suffolk Border League and progressed along, with the club, up the levels to Step 3.

He is the current record appearance-maker, playing 442 and scoring 6 goals.

Gould’s commitment to the club has been fantastic over the years, and is something very rarely seen in football these days!

He has achieved so much at the club, winning the Essex & Suffolk Border League, Eastern Counties First Division and Knockout Cup as well as the Isthmian North Division.
