Salmon, a natural left-sided player who was previously with Ashington, has bags of experience in the Northern League and is a great addition to Kevin Bolam’s side ahead of the 2020/21 season.

Assistant manager Mick Mulhern told the club`s website: “It’s great to get Luke onboard, I’ve worked with him before whilst at Whitley Bay, he’s a great player who can give you flare but also has the grit and determination needed to compete in the Northern League.

“He has bags of experience at this level and is a excellent addition to our squad. We think that it’s important to have an extra left sided player in the group as that gives us more balance, flexibility and obviously competition.

“We are looking forward to getting him on the pitch and working with him”.
