Jordan Annear (pictured), who made the long-distance move to Northern Premier League
Premier Division side South Shields in late August 2019, has signed for Biddy
Annear
made just 6 appearances for the Mariners, scoring once, before being released
in October 2019, returning to the West Country to join Toolstation Western
League Premier Division outfit Tavistock.
From
Truro in Cornwall, Annear enjoyed a goal-laden spell with Plymouth Parkway in
the Western League Premier Division.
His
previous clubs include Porthleven, Newquay and Falmouth Town.
He
won the South West Peninsula League`s `golden boot` after notching 43 times in
the 2017/18 season and scored almost a century of goals in just over 100
appearances for Falmouth and had trials with AFC Wimbledon, Cheltenham Town and
Southern Premier Division South outfit Tiverton Town.
Season
2018/19 saw him score 19 times in 17 games for Parkway as they finished second
in the Western League, and he came to Shields’ attention when he impressed in
two trial matches.
Bideford
manager Sean Joyce has also managed to prise away impressive midfielder George
Nancekivell from Southern Premier side Tiverton.
The
24-year-old joined the Yellows in June 2019 from Bideford`s close rivals Barnstaple
Town.
Voted
players` player of the 2018/19 season, he previously played for South West
Peninsula Leaguers Torridgeside, having begun at North Devon Leaguers Merton
FC, and joined Barum in 2017. |
