Two Return to Railwaymen
Southern League Division One Central club Didcot Town have welcomed George Jeacock and Sam Barder back to the GWR Loop Meadow Stadium.

Wide player Jeacock (pictured) joined Southern Division One South side Thatcham Town in September 2018, scoring a hat-trick on his debut.

 

The 22-year-old signed for the Kingfishers from Farnborough having begun his career at Oxford United before spells at Banbury United and Didcot.

 

Barder is a midfielder who arrived at Thatcham in June 2019 from Didcot.

 

Having broken into the Wantage Town senior team at the age of 16, he spent a couple of years at Alfredian Park before signing for the Railwaymen for the first time in 2016.

 

He spent three seasons at Didcot where he was part of the team which reached the play-offs and the final of the Southern League Cup.

 

He was an ever-present in 2018/19 as the Railwaymen finished seventh in Division One Central.
