Experienced Defender Joins Wasps

Isthmian League South East Division club East Grinstead Town have brought in another experienced player in Jay Gasson.

Gasson joins from Walton Casuals, who he signed for in March 2019 having played under Wasps` boss Leigh Dynan at Kingstonian.

The defender had been with K`s since the summer of 2018 after arriving from then-league rivals Metropolitan Police and made 55 appearances and chipped in with 8 goals.

He joined the Met from Vanarama National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough last summer.

Gasson left Basingstoke Town in June 2016 after spending six seasons there, having joined them from Havant & Waterlooville in 2010.

Previously he also turned out for Farnborough, Corinthian-Casuals, Whyteleafe and Croydon Athletic.
