Hoyte
is a vastly experienced 34-year-old centre-back who joined Southern League Premier
Division Central side St Ives Town from Bedford Town in February 2019.
He
started his career with the Eagles before joining Cambridge United as a pro in
June 2007.
He
made 13 appearances for the U’s in their runs to successive play-off finals in
the Conference before being released in the Spring of 2009.
He
skippered the very successful St Neots Town team between 2012 and 2015 where he
made well over 100 appearances and scored a few vital goals.
He
returned to his roots with Bedford Town in the summer of 2018 where he was an
integral part of their excellent FA Trophy run to the Second Round.
His
other clubs include Weymouth, Halesowen Town and Biggleswade Town.
Thorne (pictured) is a 30-year-old centre-back who also enjoyed a well-travelled career since
leaving the professional game with MK Dons and then Stevenage Borough in 2009.
He
went on to have spells with Cambridge City, Bedford Town, Hemel Hempstead Town,
Kettering Town, Dunstable Town, St. Neots Town, Arlesey Town, Braintree Town,
Kidderminster Harriers, Newport County, Slough Town, Havant &
Waterlooville, Barton Rovers, Heybridge Swifts, Cheshunt, Carshalton Athletic
and Wivenhoe Town. |
