Kelvin Lugsden (pictured) , twin brother of striker Kieran Lugsden, returns to Ramsbottom from NPL Premier side Matlock Town, who he had moved to the previous July.

He was with Ramsbottom in 2019/20 after signing from the now-defunct Shaw Lane in July 2019 and the centre-back made 32 appearances for Rammy before lockdown.

He previously spent nine years at Glossop North End, scoring 15 goals in 420 outings for the Hillmen.

He was voted both players’ and management player of the year in 2014/15, after helping Glossop secure a league and cup double as well as reach their second FA Vase Final at Wembley.

He joined Shaw Lane prior to the start of the 2016/17 season along with his twin brother, Kieran.

In February 2018 Kelvin became the first player to sign a contract for the 2018/19 season for Shaw Lane.

Kyle Harrison also moves to Rammy.

The 25-year-old arrives from NPL Premier Division side Buxton, who he signed for a year ago following a loan spell.

He had joined the Bucks from rivals Ashton United, where he had been since May 2019, soon after their relegation from the National League North, joining from neighbours Radcliffe.

Had joined Boro in February from Hyde United where he was known as 'Mr Dependable'.

His other previous clubs include Farsley Celtic, Mossley AFC and Guiseley AFC and was also a popular player with his previous clubs.
