Redwood Becomes Second New Hawk of the Week
Pitching In Isthmian League South East Division club Whitehawk have signed the versatile Leon Redwood from Isthmian League Premier Division side Lewes.

The 29-year-old had returned to the Rooks in the summer after being with Vanarama National League South side Eastbourne Borough having moved to Priory Lane in June 2019 from Lewes.

 

He started his career with Brighton & Hove Albion and had a loan spell with Lewes in 2010/11 before being released by the Seagulls in 2011 when he joined Dover Athletic.

 

He then spent two seasons with Chelmsford City, one with Burgess Hill Town and one with Eastbourne before signing for Lewes on a permanent basis in 2018/19.

 

Redwood becomes new Hawks` boss Ross Standen`s second recruit of the week, following the arrival of forward Omarr Lawson from Isthmian Premier side Kingstonian.
