Supporters
will already know Carden as a veteran of YM teams, having first appeared for
the club in a cup match against Burgess Hill Town in August 2002. Since then he
has been a stalwart in defence, an on-field leader and made a club record total
of 508 appearances.
Carden
is widely respected in the game and will bring his enthusiasm and wealth of
football experience to his new role at the club.
The
club have thanked Julian Miller for his work with Horsham YMCA, in particular
his work in helping set-up the youth program and have wished him well for the
future.
Commenting
on the new appointment, acting YM chairman Mike Whiteford told https://www.horshamymcafc.co.uk:
“We are looking forward to Dean leading the way in, building a more
experienced, competitive team within the County League whilst continuing to
provide opportunities for ‘homegrown’ players from our successful youth football
structure”. |
