An
announcement from Kent FC reads: “The club can confirm men’s manager James
Bradley has stood down due to work commitments leaving him unable to commit to
next season. Lloyd Bradley and Ben Kirk have also followed suit.
“The
club would like to thank them all for stabilising the senior side last season
and for their hard work and endeavour in what was an extremely challenging time
with football suspended from 31st October 2020.
“The
club can confirm we are not taking applications for the position. An
announcement from the club will be released on Sunday evening.”
The
trio joined Kent Football United at the start of the 2020/21 season and guided
the team to 9th place before the campaign was curtailed due to Covid.”
Kent
United`s league rivals FC Elmstead also announced that their manager, Ennio
Gonnella, has resigned from his role.
In
the 2019/20 season Gonnella took the club to its best ever finish in the First
Division but was denied the chance to gain promotion for them when the Covid pandemic
broke out.
The
club have wished Gonnella well and will announce a statement about the vacant
position in the next two or three weeks.
