Search is joined by former Beachboy Danny Green, who is coming in as his assistant, bringing with him experience in both the professional and non-League game, and highly respected Craig Shipman who will become first team coach.

Forty-two-year-old Search has overseen an incredibly successful period as manager of the under-18’s side and has a wealth of experience of how the club works having spent the last four years at Thames Road.

In light of the unforeseen resignation of Search’s predecessor Danny Scopes, the committee and he were aligned in their shared desire for continuity, stability and honesty being key to the club's success moving forward.

Search told https://www.concordrangers.co.uk: “Firstly I would like to say thanks to Concord Rangers and the committee for giving me the opportunity to manage this great club after four years at the club and having worked closely with the first team over the past two seasons including the memorable day at Wembley.

“I am not underestimating the massive leap in levels, however alongside Danny Green and Craig Shipman I believe we have a very complimentary and strong management team following on from the shock departures of Ant Smith and Danny Scopes in recent days and I felt this is an opportunity to continue the great work of the previous management team.

“With the promise of hard work from us all we look forward to the new season ahead and will endeavour to progress the club in all possible ways on and off the field”.
