Cass Makes Blues Return

Pitching In Isthmian League Premier Division club Bishop`s Stortford have re-signed forward Jake Cass.

The 27-year-old joined Vanarama National League South outfit Chelmsford City in January 2021 from Southern Premier Division South side Chesham United, where he had been since July 2020.

He started out at Braintree Town and was on dual registration with Harlow Town whilst on the Iron`s books.

He moved to East Thurrock United, AFC Hayes, Hendon and Egham Town followed before he really came to the fore with Chalfont St Peter, who he joined in 2016 and netted 16 times in 32 games in 2017/18.

That prompted a step back up the non-League Pyramid with Bishop`s Stortford in the summer of 2018 and he then re-joined then-National League side Braintree in October 2018 after scoring 6 goals in 8 appearances for the Blues.

After a short time out of action, he signed for Isthmian North outfit Maldon & Tiptree in late January 2020 and made 9 appearances and scored 3 goals before lockdown.
