Blakeman Returns to Magpies
Chorley have announced the return of defender Adam Blakeman from Vanarama National League North rivals Spennymoor Town.

The 29-year-old started his career with Bolton Wanderers at youth level, before moving on to play for Hyde United in the Conference Premier and Conference North in 2013/14.

He then moved north of the border to play in Scottish League One for Ayr United before returning to the re-branded National League with Southport in 2015/16.

One year later he made the switch to Chorley and spent four seasons with the Magpies, recording high appearances and impressive statistics consistently.

Blakeman is adept at playing higher up the pitch and is capable of operating on the left of midfield, as well as his natural left-back.

This is exemplified by some notable goals returns for a defender and in 2018/19 he scored once in every four games, netting 9 times in 36 appearances in the season Chorley were promoted to the National League.
