Several of the Royals signings have come from Moneyfields, who have voluntarily dropped into the Wessex League from the Pitching In Southern League Division One South.

Thirty-year-old Liam Robinson (pictured), however, joins from another Southern Division One South side AFC Totton, where he had been since July 2020 after arriving from Gosport Borough, for whom he had joined from then-Southern Premier Division South rivals Blackfield & Langley in the summer of 2019.

He enjoyed a fantastic 2018/19 campaign with the Watersiders, who were promoted as champions of Southern Division One South, having won the league by a convincing seven-point advantage.

He was previously with Eastleigh, Sholing and Winchester City.

Another forward, Kieran Roberts, has made the switch from Moneys.

The 25-year-old joined Moneyfields in July 2020 from Blackfield & Langley, having started the 2019/20 season with Southern Premier South side Wimborne Town.

He began his career with AFC Bournemouth. He had spells with Weymouth and Hamworthy United before jetting off to the United States to attend Radford University.

He turned out for Radford Highlanders and also Reading United from Pennsylvania, who play in the USL League Two - the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid.

Also joining from Moneys are Tom Dinsmore, Lamin Jatta, Joe Briggs, Jake Raine, Connor Hoare, Lewis Fennemore, Conor Bailey, Marley Ridge, George Barker and Sam Pearce.

Dinsmore, 20, is a midfielder who signed for Moneyfields in July 2020 after he was released by AFC Bournemouth.

Portsmouth-born, he joined the Cherries in 2012 and worked his way through the development centre and academy ranks before penning his first professional contract after completing his two-year scholarship at the end of 2018/19.

He played his part as Bournemouth reached the quarter-final of the FA Youth Cup in 2018/19 – the club’s best run in the competition for 50 years.

He was no stranger to Moneys, however, having spent time on loan from the Cherries in March 2019.

Jatta is a speedy forward joined Moneys at the start of the 2019/20 season from Fareham Town and scored 4 goals in 23 games during his debut season.

Lamin’s brother is the Hamburg midfielder, Bakery Jatta.

Briggs is a 31-year-old wide player who signed for Moneys in 2017 from rivals Winchester City.

He numbers Petersfield Town, Andover, Gosport Borough, Chichester City, and Pagham amongst his other former clubs.

Raine, 25, is a midfielder who can break up play and retain possession well.

The powerful player came through Moneyfields` successful youth system.

Hoare is a 25-year-old central midfielder who joined Moneyfields on a more permanent basis in 2019 after being on loan from Gosport Borough.

He has also worn the colours of Bashley, Petersfield Town and Blackfield & Langley.

Fennemore is an experienced 36-year-old midfielder who joined Moneys in 2017 from rivals Sholing.

He spent several years with the Boatmen and played for them in the FA Vase Final at Wembley.

He was also previously with GE Hamble and Havant & Waterlooville.

Bailey, 29, is a defender or midfielder who progressed from Moneyfields` youth academy.

He is an attacking full back who has scored some fantastic goal over the last few seasons he has a great attitude and was a major part of the Moneys first team.

Ridge, 23, is a midfielder who first burst on the scene as part of National League South club Havant & Waterlooville`s academy at South Downs College.

After impressing for the academy and then the first team he signed his first contract in 2015.

He had loan spells with the likes of Winchester City, Petersfield Town and Moneyfields to get minutes in senior football whilst also playing for the Hawks in local cup competitions.

He had another loan spell with Bognor Regis Town at the start of the 2018/19 season and to Gosport Borough at the beginning of 2019/20 before joining league rivals Hartley Wintney, where he had a loan spell in 2018/19, in February 2020.

He joined Moneyfields on a permanent basis in June 2020.

Barker, 29 is a forward who signed for Moneyfields in June 2020 from Gosport Borough.

He had re-joined the Southern Premier Division South side from Staines Town in December 2018.

He played for Boro in the 2015/16 season before moving to Havant & Waterlooville.

He has played in the Football League for Brighton & Hove Albion and Swindon Town as well as loan spells with Barnet, Newport County and Tranmere Rovers.

Pearce is an experienced 34-year-old defender who joined Moneyfields in 2017 from Gosport Borough.

He was originally with Havant & Waterlooville, where he spent eight years in two spells separated by stints at Fleet Town, Bognor Regis Town and Salisbury City.

Full back Zak Sharp moves from Wessex League rivals Baffins Milton Rovers.

He had joined Rovers in May 2020 from Moneyfields, who he had joined in December 2019 from Blackfield & Langley.

He joined the Watersiders in the summer of 2018 and played a big part in their promotion-winning campaign.

He was previously with Gosport Borough and Littlehampton Town.
