The
20-year-old had been with Angels since September 2020 following a two-year
scholarship at Derby County’s academy.
Whilst
with the Rams, as well as playing for their under-18s and under-23s, he also
had loan spells at Barnsley under-23s, Mickleover Sports and Carshalton
Athletic.
Hawks
boss manager Ross Standen told https://whitehawkfc.com: “We are delighted to
sign on Javaun as another forward into our squad and bring competition to the
forward position.
“We
were made aware of him via Omarr Lawson and also Steve McKimm – manager at
Tonbridge Angels who Javaun played for last season in the National League South
– spoke very highly of him.
“Javaun
is a young lad who wants to return to the pro game, someone who showed a great
attitude when speaking with him and in the first few training sessions we have
seen him in. A great size giving us another option to our forward line, very
mobile and with great work rate alongside great strength & technical
ability will see him be a big asset to the club and we look forward to working
with him!” |
